Takashi Amano – Photographer and eXtreme Aquarist

Takashi Amano is famous for his landscape photography but among aquarists he is legendary. He is a pioneer in freshwater aquascaping, also known as the nature aquarium, having introduced Japanese gardening concepts such as Wabi-sabi and Zen rock arrangement to the hobby. Through many years of experience he has developed a line of products for aquascaping under the brand Aqua Design Amano (ADA). The products and techniques developed by Mr. Amano has revolutionized the field of aquascaping. Here are just a few of his amazing designs:
